about Boulder Sports Clinic

Personalized Care For Athletes and Individuals

A multidisciplinary sports medicine clinic in Boulder, Colorado focused on helping active people move, train, and live better—without relying on medications or one-size-fits-all care.

At Boulder Sports Clinic, we help active people get out of pain, recover from injuries, and stay active long-term.

Whether you’re a runner training for your next race, a climber, skier, cyclist, weightlifter, desk worker, weekend warrior, or someone recovering from an accident, our team provides coordinated, evidence-based care designed around your body and your goals.

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatment. We believe in finding the root cause, building a clear plan, and guiding you through every phase of recovery — from pain relief to long-term performance and prevention.

The Problem

Most people don’t struggle because care doesn’t exist—they struggle because it’s fragmented. You’re told to “try chiropractic,” or “do some PT,” or “get a massage,” without anyone stepping back to connect the dots.

Pain often sticks around because the root issue isn’t addressed. Tight muscles can pull joints out of position. Poor movement patterns overload tissues. Old injuries change how your body moves—even after the pain fades. It’s like fixing a leaky roof without checking the foundation.

What people really need is clarity: What’s actually causing this, and what’s the right next step?

Who We Help

We work with people who want more than “just getting by.”
  • Active adults who want to keep doing what they love
  • Athletes (runners, climbers, cyclists, skiers, CrossFitters, lifters)
  • Desk workers with neck, back, or postural pain
  • High school and collegiate athletes
  • People recovering from car accidents or overuse injuries
  • Pregnant and postpartum patients
  • Adults who want to stay strong, mobile, and independent as they age
If pain, stiffness, or injury is limiting your life — we’re here to help you move forward.

What Makes Us Different

A Truly Integrated, Team-Based Approach

Unlike clinics that offer just one service, our providers work together.

When appropriate, your care may include a coordinated combination of Chiropractic care, Physical therapy, Massage therapy, or Advanced therapies.
This collaborative approach allows us to:
  • Reduce pain faster
  • Improve mobility and strength more completely
  • Prevent recurring injuries instead of just treating symptoms
our commitment

Why Choose Us

At Boulder Sports Clinic, we stand out by integrating three key services under one roof:

Chiropractic-icon

Chiropractic:

We design personalized care plans that focus on addressing the root causes of your issues, ensuring long-lasting results.
Physical Therapy-icon

Physical Therapy:

We prioritize your unique needs, providing compassionate, one-on-one care that empowers you to achieve your health and wellness goals.
Massage Therapy-icon

Massage Therapy:

Our care integrates advanced techniques with a deep commitment to your overall well-being, offering more than just symptom relief.

Each service has a purpose in your treatment
  • Chiropractic Care – Joint mobility, tissue mobility, nervous system function, and movement optimization
  • Physical Therapy – Injury rehabilitation, strength, and return-to-sport planning
  • Massage Therapy – Soft tissue treatment to support recovery and performance
  • Advanced Therapies - Modalities like shockwave therapy, laser therapy, or spinal decompression may be used when appropriate to accelerate healing.
Each visit is customized — no cookie-cutter plans, no rushed appointments. You don’t have to choose the service—we help guide that decision.

Our Treatment Philosophy:

Pain Relief → Correction → Resilience

We believe great care happens in phases:

Pain Relief

Reduce pain, inflammation, and irritation so your body can calm down.

Correction

Restore mobility, strength, and movement patterns that caused the problem in the first place.

Performance & Prevention Phase

Build resilience so injuries don’t keep coming back.

This approach helps patients feel better now and stay better long-term.

We provide integrated chiropractic care, physical therapy, and massage therapy in Boulder, CO to help active people recover from injuries, reduce pain, and return to the activities they love.

Is Boulder Sports Clinic a chiropractic office or a physical therapy clinic?

Both. We’re a multidisciplinary clinic with chiropractors, physical therapists, and massage therapists who coordinate care under one roof.

Do I need a referral to start?

No. We are direct access and will perform our own thorough examination at your first visit. We are not in network with insurance companies. We can help you get reimbursed from your insurance by providing a superbill that you can submit. we’ll help you confirm what’s needed.

What types of patients do you treat?

We commonly work with runners, cyclists, climbers, skiers, weightlifters, desk workers, active/aging adults, pregnant and postpartum patients, and people recovering from car accidents.

What conditions do you commonly help with?

Common issues include back pain, neck pain, headaches, shoulder pain, hip pain, knee pain, sciatica, tendon issues, sports injuries, and overuse injuries.

What happens at the first visit?

Your first visit includes a thorough history and movement evaluation, a clear explanation of what’s going on, and a personalized plan. Treatment will start on day one when appropriate.

How do you decide between chiropractic, physical therapy, or massage?

We choose based on what your body needs. Many patients do best with a combination: chiropractic to address joint and tissue restrictions, massage for extensive muscle tightness, and physical therapy for strength and rehab. We will discuss our reccomendations at your first visit, based on our examination findings.

How long will I need care?

It depends on the issue, your goals, and how long the issue has been present. We typically guide patients through phases: relief, correction, and prevention/performance—so results last.

No. Our team regularly works with athletes in Boulder—from endurance athletes and climbers to high school and collegiate sports. However, we can use the tools and tricks we learned in years of sports medicine to help any active person feel better quickly.

How do I book an appointment?

You can book online or contact our team and we’ll match you with the right provider based on your symptoms and goals.

How is this different from a typical chiropractic or PT clinic?

We don’t rely on a single tool. Care is coordinated across providers so treatment evolves as your needs change.

Can I use just one standalone service?

es—but many patients benefit most with a broader plan rather than a standalone solution.

Do I need to know which service to book?

No. Your first visit focuses on evaluation. We’ll help determine whether chiropractic, physical therapy, massage, or a combination makes the most sense.
